End killings, leave Water Bill alone – Govt. Ortom tells Buhari
Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari over the push by the presidency for the passage of the National Water Resources Bill.
On his verified twitter page@Gov. Samuel Ortom, the governor said rather than concentrate on solving insecurity in the country, the President is preoccupied with the passage of the water bill, which, according to him, is irrelevant now.
“There are more serious issues bothering Nigerians now than the Water Resources Bill that the Presidency is relentlessly pushing for. Why can’t they initiate bills seeking to end the killing of thousands of Nigerians in the country? Benue State will continue to strongly reject the obnoxious National Water Resources Bill, ” he said.
