Ekiti APC senatorial candidate pledges to empower artisans

A senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Olubunmi Adetunbi, on Tuesday promised that he would empower artisans in Ikole Local Government ‎Area if elected on Saturday.

Adetunbi, an indigene of Ifaki-Ekiti in Ido-Osi Local Government Area, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ikole –Ekiti that artisans would get priority attention in his constituency projects.

The candidate, who is contesting the Ekiti ‎North Senatorial District seat, urged the artisans to mobilise massively for the ruling APC to emerge victorious in Saturday’s presidential and senatorial elections.

“I want to assure all artisans in Ikole Local Government Area, that I, Olubunmi Adetunbi, will empower all artisans if I am elected to represent Ekiti North Senatorial District in this forthcoming election.

”I am a man of integrity and I will not compromise or deceive my people;  I am determined to give priority to the welfare and needs of the people in my constituency.

” I promise to empower the tailors, hairdressers, commercial transport‎ workers, mechanics among many other artisans.

” Apart from voting for me, I equally want to charge all indigenes and artisans of Ikole Ekiti  to move out in their numbers and vote for President Muhammadu Buhari who is capable of restoring the lost glory of Nigeria.

” Regardless of what members of the Peoples Democratic Party  ‎are saying about him, I just want to plead with all the people in my constituency to disregard any rumour  or allegation  levelled against the president  and vote for him for the development of Ekiti State,” he said. (NAN)
