Easter: If we say ‘No’ to corruption, violence, COVID-19’ll disappear – Cleric

Founder of Gospel Buz Foundation International and leader of Love God’s Direction (LGD), Pastor Irame Emmanuel Symbol, has declared that God could the course the disappearance of the dreaded Coronavirus from surface of earth, if only people can say no to corruption, violence and other social vices.

Pastor Symbol said this, in Warri, Delta State, during his 2020  online Easter message to Deltans, Nigerians and the entire world through  the sermon titled ‘Who will roll away this stone’?

He assured Nigerians and citizens of the world of the power of God to intervene in the affairs of men especially in the current dreaded Coronavius pandemic ravaging the world.

He referred the world lockdown forcing people to stay at home as a measure of mitigating  the spread of the Coronavirus to the biblical episode reflected in the book of Mark 16: 1-4 when three faithful of Jesus; Mary Magdalene, Mary mother of Jesus and Salome found it difficult to access and anoint the body of Christ because a great stone barred the way to the tomb where the body of Christ laid, adding that in their frustration in finding a solution to the problem about who would roll away the stone, so that they could accomplish their task but when they got to the tomb, they looked up and saw that the stone, which was very large, has been rolled away by the Angel of God.

He admonished further saying, “Just what happened at that time is what is happening today. Everyone, rich and poor, politicians  and the masses as well as  the strong and the weak is being locked down in obedience to stay at home order because of a stone called COVID-19.

“Our worry now is, who will roll away this large stone called Coronavirus from the entrance of our houses, so we could come out and be free again?

“The only way is for all persons to follow the way of God by loving God’s direction, say no to corruption and eschew violence.

“If we do these, the present stone called  Coronavirus–will be rolled away for us by our God Almighty and the whole world will regain freedom,” the cleric said.
