Senior Pastor, Trinity House Church, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo officiated a burial of a man simply identified as Ayodeji, on Sunday, the same day his wife, Ibidunni Ituah-Ighodalo died of heart attack in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Video footage posted to social media on Sunday shows Ighodalo as the officiating minister at the funeral.
“Everywhere is tensed, disturbing. A lot of you know that I really shouldn’t be here (at the burial) but that’s how life is. As early as 2 am this morning, I received news that shattered my life. But life must go on,” Ighodalo said.
He said during the funeral that life is a deep mystery and that no one human being who can understand life.
Ighodalo’s wife, Ibidun Itua-Ighodalo died in the early hours of Sunday morning following a cardiac arrest.
The news of her death sent shockwaves all over social media with many extolling the virtues of the former beauty queen who has battled infertility after 12 failed fertility treatments.
Ighodalo, who has been previously divorced, leading to him leaving the Redeemed Christian Church of God, had said in previous interviews that he had no choice but to remarry after his first wife opted out of their marriage
