Debby Classique Magazine and Designers recently organized its 2020 award of excellence programme in Lagos state.
The convener of the event, Debby Silas said the awards were to celebrate men and women who have done great exploits in their chosen field.
“We are here today to celebrate icons of excellence. We celebrate you and honour you for your great deeds in society. The awardees have been carefully chosen based on their activities and the various ways they have touched people’s lives.”
Also, during the welcome address, Mr Ebuka Obioma confirmed that it is an award of excellence organised to recognise the great deeds of people in the movie industry, media, and philanthropism among many other fields.
First, to be awarded was Helen Mbakwe who bagged the Award of special recognitions in the Humanitarian category followed by Barrister Ugochi Maduruike who was honoured with ‘Award of excellence to a woman of honour’.
Jonite Kitchen Nigeria Limited was honoured with ‘Best in customer service, quality in kitchen and bakery award’ while the Top class kitchen equipment award of the year was given to the Sherryman kitchen
Engineer Sunday Esomonu was crowned with ‘Valiant achievement in business and contribution to the development of community’.
Golden kitchen equipment award of the year was given to Adams Nwankwor and Doris Tony Onyebule was given the Diamond achievement humanitarian award.
Lady Stella Nkechi Edochi bagged the Diamond Achievement humanitarian award and Best Male Make-up artist of the year award was given to the Blues Glam.
Event Services planner award of the year was given to Francis Event and Woman of essence, fashion designer award of the year was awarded to Princess Ebere Umeh.
Woman of essence humanitarian award goes to Chief Mrs Linda Nonye Okeke Ugosimba and Ejike Asiegbu was given the award of Old Nollywood.
Best Female DJ of the year was given to Commissioner DJ YCee while Entrepreneur multi-business brain of the year was given to the Director of Ronick Multitrade.
Emeka Nwachukwu was honoured with ‘Outstanding corporate event specialist award of the year’ and Icon of the year award was given to Mike Ogbonna AKA Dauda.
