Nigerian singer/songwriter, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, has said that nobody was crossing to anywhere until President Muhammadu Buhari packs his bags and leaves office in 2023.
Charly Boy who took a jab at the craze for Crossover night which is the gathering of people at churches said that “We all die here. Get ready for 2022”.
The fiery musician also asked if the Crossover Service was stated anywhere in the Holy Bible? He also asked of what significance the Crossover Service is.

He said further that he is aware that many Nigerians are prepared to run into the church about a few minutes to 12 just to enter the next year and wonder what kind of assurance they get from pastors on the year 2022.
He said: “Crossover Nonsense. What exactly is the significance of cross overnight? Is it stated anywhere in the bible? Apart from the fact that its a time to worship God is there any other spiritual or physical purpose?”
