Crisis rocks PDP as Party slams indefinite suspension on two ex-ministers, five others

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended some senior members of the Party, in Kebbi State, including two former ministers barely three days to the governorship and State Assemblies elections, rescheduled for Saturday.

The ministers were identified as Barr. Kabiru Tanimu Turaki and Alhaji Buhari Bala while the other five members are Haruna Saidu Dandio, Sani Bawa Argungu, Bala Abdullahi, Dole Kaina, and Maryam Isah.

Their suspension of the seven, which was contained in a statement issued by the party’s state secretary Abubakar Bawa Kalgo, has been reportedly approved by the State Executive Committee, SEC, of the party.

They were suspended for allegedly engaging in anti-party activities, and were suspended with effect from Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
