COVID-19: No let up in global spread

Just as Nigeria recorded four new cases in the last 24 hours, bringing total number of infected people to 35, the USA, according to the record of covid-19 infections globally, recorded 515, bringing its tally to a total of 16,435.                    

Spain recorded the highest number of new infections with 6461 and now has 94,417 people infected.

China, where the Coronavirus scourge began, also recorded 79 new infections, which brought its total number of infected people to 81,515.

Incidentally, Italy, the world’s worst hit country in terms fatal casualties recorded no new cases in the last 24 hours. However, its total infections stand at 101,479.
