COVID-19: Electricity distribution company donates, N100m food items to Kwara State Govt.

The Ilorin Regional Office of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Cmpany (IBEDC) has donated food items worth N100 million to help Kwara State Government in its palliatives measures for the COVID-19 lockdown. 

IBEDC Regional Head, Mr Musbau Ajisafe who led the management team to make the donation in Ilorin  said they were donating items such as 2,500 bags of 5kg rice, 1,500 cartoons of noodles and 3,000 1kg bags of semovita to support government palliatives to  poor during the lockdown in the fight against COVID-19.

According to him, IBEDC is committed to providing regular power supply promising that services to non paying customers during the period the period of lockdown except it was based on safety advisory.

Ajisafe also promised that IBEDC essential technical staff would be on ground to repair faults promptly.
