COVID-19: 7-Up donates free drinks in Lagos

The Seven-Up Bottling Company has announced donation of one million bottles of Aquafina drinking water brand and other beverages in its portfolio to the Lagos State Emergency Food Relief.

Another one million bottles, according to the firm, will be donated to other states to support containment of the Coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement via its social media pages, the company said the donation was in aid of efforts to cater for citizens in vulnerable communities during this COVID-19 pandemic.

Managing Director of 7-Up , Mr. Ziad Maalouf, said the gesture was to affirm the firm’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities during the tough time.

He expressed gratitude to those at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19, stating “SBC believes that we are stronger together when we take collective action to help each other stay safe.”
