Brazil will battle out with Bolivia at the Estadio do Morumbi, Sao Paulo on Friday, June 14th 2019 at 1:30 am African Time on StarTimes World Football.
The 46th edition of Copa America will take place from June 14th to July 7th in 5 cities from Brazil. Twelve teams will be competing including two guests, Japan and Qatar with some of the biggest stars in the international stage this summer as South America’s best teams fight it out for the continental crown.
The Brazil forward, Neymar has been ruled out of the Copa America with an ankle ligament injury. The 27-year-old suffered the setback in the first half of the Seleção’s 2-0 friendly win over Qatar on Wednesday. “Due to the seriousness of the injury, Neymar will not have the physical conditions and sufficient recovery time to participate in the Copa América Brazil 2019.”
Chelsea star Willian has been chosen to replace Neymar after the forward was forced out of Brazil’s Copa America plans. And, while Lucas Moura of Tottenham and Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior had been mentioned as replacements, Blues winger Willian has ultimately received the nod.
