The crisis that has engulfed the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) following the death of its founder, Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as T.B Joshua, has taken a new turn with Bishop Ufuoma Bernard of The Godist Church, describing his widow, Evelyn, as a Jezebel.
Bishop Bernard in a post on Facebook, accused Evelyn of forcing herself onto the church’s headship.
He criticised how wives of church leaders take over as soon as the founder dies, saying church is not a family business.
He also recollected how the some big churches nosedived after the wives of the founders took over in such circumstances.
According to him, “Evelyn Joshua is a Jezebel.

“When Nkechi Iloputaife took over from the murdered husband, the biggest church in Lagos, Victory Christian Church, at the time collapsed,” he wrote.
“When Margaret Idahosa used wayo to take over Church of God Mission after Benson Idahosa suffered cardiac arrest the church dwindled in profile.
“Now Evelyn Joshua has muscled her way into the topmost position of Synagogue and certainly Synagogue is going down. Church is not family business.”
