It was cheers and jubilation inside the Oyo State House of Assembly, on Monday, as Governor Abiola Ajimobi presented his administration’s last budget estimate, the 2019 Appropriation Bill of N285 billion.
The 2019 is N18 billion higher than the 2018 budget at N267 billion.
In a video shared by the state government on its social media account, Governor Ajimobi was seen being hailed while he showed a sign of love to the teeming supporters at the Assembly’s gallery, on Monday.

Governor Ajimobi will be the first governor of the state to present budget eight times.
The 2019 Budget estimate is the last of Governor Abiola Ajimobi. The governor is also vying for a senatorial seat in 2019.
