Officials of Cerebral Palsy Football Association of Nigeria are seeking support towards their second leg 7-A-side friendly game against their Ghanaian counterparts early next month in Lagos.
The never-say-die football team had beaten the Ghanaians 7 – 2 in Winneba on December 1, 2019, and are hoping to play great hosts in the reverse fixture hence the passionate plea for moral and financial support.
Secretary General of Cerebral Palsy Football Association of Nigeria, Deborah Okediadi, explained that the International football concept, among other plans are aimed at creating excitement and fun among those with special needs in our society .

“We found out that featuring in sporting events, particularly football excite them well and we are determined to improve on that hence we want sports loving groups and individuals to be part of this special moment.
“We are particularly grateful to Chief Joseph Odebeato of Ojez entertained Spot, Chief Osondu Ogbu of Old Skool, Managements of Hotel Lawal, Great dynamic talents, Doors Youth Empowerment and Active (8) that facilitated the trip to and fro Ghana,” said Okediadi who revealed their plans to also launch a special set of brand new jerseys in the January 2020 rematch.
