News reaching The Nigerian Xpress now indicates that the Senate has confirmed the appointment of Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele for another five years.
President Muhammadu Buhari had earlier nominated Emefiele for another five years tenure at the apex bank.
