Minister of State for Health, Dr. Olorunnimbe Mamora, has reportedly tested negative for the ravaging Coronavirus.
Mamora, who is a member of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, was one of those who had contact with the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr. Abba Kyari, who had since tested positive for COVID-19.
The minister had gone into self-isolation since Tuesday following his contact with Mr. Kyari.
Mr. Kyari had reportedly met with members of the Task Force, including Mamora, and the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, on Saturday, and shook hands with them.
The minister, in his WhatsApp message, said the test conducted on him, on Wednesday, came out this morning and was negative.
“Following my contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, I went into self isolation. Testing was carried out on me yesterday and the result came back this morning NEGATIVE,” he said.
