An aide to Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Adeniyi Adesanya, on Friday, died in a road accident while the Secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Adeoluwa, was reportedly injured in the same accident .

It was gathered that the accident occurred at Siun-Kobape along Sagamu-Abeokuta road.
The SSG reportedly sustained a severe injury and has been rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Idi -Aba, Abeokuta.
A source said that the Adeoluwa had been transferred to the Intensive care unit of the health facility.
The remains of Adesanya, who was popularly called ‘friend of the governor’, have been reportedly deposited at the hospital morgue.
