Nigerians have called out Pastor Tunde Bakare of Citadel Global Community Church and Reverend Ejike Mbaka for lying to them in 2015 that President Muhammadu Buhari is the one who would stabilize the country.
Following the spate of killings kidnappings and insurgency in the country, Nigerians have berated the clergymen for pitching to them a man whom they say is clueless and does not care about the general insecurity in the country.
They say both men need to apologize to them for saying that Buhari was going to make Nigeria great.
Nigerians on Monday, April 26 woke up to killings across the country, including security operatives.
The general outcry that greeted the deaths, many say, portrays Buhari’s government as inept and unfeeling.
On Tuesday, a new report by the Chandler Good Government Index, released for the first time, placed Nigeria as the third-worst governed country in the world behind Zimbabwe and Venezuela.

Men like Father Mbaka & Tunde Bakare sold Buhari to us as the next sweet thing after peppered ponmo. Tunde was even Buhari's running mate in 2011 election. Chris Okotie said god told him he'll be president of Nigeria. Most of our religious leaders ain't different from politicians
