The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has criticised Primate Ayodele, Spiritual leader of INRI church, Oke Afa, in Lagos State over a recent prophecy wherein Ayodele said Prof Chukwuma Soludo, Anambra State Governor, would lose his reelection bid next year.
The primate had predicted that the All Progressives Congress, APC, would dislodge Soludo if the party fields a popular candidate in 2025.
However, APGA, took exception to the prediction and accused Ayodele of using the name if God name to deceive people.
Reacting through one of its media arms, APGA Media Warriors Forum, the National Coordinator of the group, Chinedu Obigwe, said APGA and Soludo would win the 2025 governorship poll in the state effortlessly.
“I will advise Primate Ayodele to stop using the name of God in vain. He is more of a doomsday Prophet, and many of his prophecies did not come to fruition,” the statement read.
“He is what a popular Igbo gospel musician referred to as imitation prophets.
“On the contrary, we that are Governor Soludo diehard supporters are praying for the chieftain he mentioned to clinch APC ticket to enable us teach him a bitter political lesson.
“I say it without mincing words that APC governorship candidate in 2025 is an easy route for APGA to actualize its target of winning the 326 wards of Anambra State.”
He boasted of numerous infrastructural projects Soludo had done, saying they are enough to win the people’s votes, adding that
no other governor had achieved so much in less than two years in office as Soludo.
