There was anxiety, on Thursday, over the health condition of immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi.

There were conflicting reports regarding his health as at Thursday night as some sources claimed he was dead.

But in a swift reaction, Ajimobi’s media aide, Bolaji Tunji, described the death rumour as ‘untrue’.

In a post on his social media handles, Mr. Tunji urged Nigerians to pray for the recovery of the APC chieftain who is battling with COVID-19.

The former governor had been on sick bed for a couple of weeks now and was said to have contracted the dreaded Coronavirus.
