Sanwo-Olu deserves 2nd term in office, says LASGOBIG

The Lagos Status Governance Builders Independent Group (LASGOBIG) has commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the remarkable achievements recorded since the inception of his administration.

According to the founder of LASGOBIG, Mr. Emmanuel Amuwo, the independent organisation engaged Lagos State MDAs twice in the year 2021 to evaluate the performance of the Sanwo-Olu led administration, and from its findings, the administration has done remarkably well and still doing so much.

The group noted that judging by the analysis of its engagement with the MDAs, without any form of prejudice, despite the throes of the pandemic and the aftermath of the EndSARS protests, the pace at which the state was able to move on could only be from a pragmatic and innovative government such as the Sanwo-Olu led administration in Lagos State.

Speaking about the need for the governor to seek re-election, Mr. Amuwo stated that it is of utmost benefit to the state if Governor Sanwo-Olu is allowed to consolidate on his good works.

He said LASGOBIG, as a body with the mandate to bridge the gap in governance, would be willing to support Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu if he chooses to go for a second term citing his enviable performance and delivery of service.

“To show our support through our LASGOBIG REPORTS, we shall give exclusive performance report of each ministry to show the public that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has delivered on his promises and deserve another term.

“LASGOBIG is on a mission to create a strong synergy between the government and the people, therefore we owe it to the people of Lagos State to convince them through facts and not mere words of campaign,” he added.

Mr. Amuwo also encouraged the MDAs to always showcase their projects and programs, saying this would, more than ever, restore public trust in the government.
