Playing impressive football against the visiting Insurance of Benin and earning a penalty kick, the Minna boys squandered all opportunities.

The referee, M. Sani, awarded the spot kick to the host on the stroke of 26 minutes, after an infringement call against Insurance player in their goal area

The Tornadoes’ Isah Azado, fluffed the opportunity. Insurance thereafter continued to contain their opponents, frustrating all their attacks, until the end of the pulsating encounter.

Both Tornadoes and Insurance remained on three points.

However, some Tornadoes fans, who were angry about the team’s performance, threw objects onto the field. (NAN)
