Gov. Abiodun celebrates Awujale’s 64 years on the throne

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona (Ogbagba II), the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, on the remarkable 64 years he has dedicated to guiding our people with impactful leadership.

 

 

 

 

 

 

In a statement signed by the governor, he described the nonagenarian monarch as the guardian of the state.

 

 

 

 

 

The statement reads in part, “Kabiyesi, as the guardian of our cherished customs and traditions, you have consistently showcased yourself as an exemplary and practical leader who fills us all with immense pride. Throughout your reign, Ijebuland has witnessed an array of groundbreaking initiatives that have propelled the region towards growth and development”.

“Under your guidance, peaceful coexistence has flourished among the honourable people of Ijebuland, residents, visitors, and investors alike”.
