APC screening committee clears Gov. Sule for second term

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship screening committee has screened and cleared Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State to re-contest the gubernatorial election come 2023.

Governor Sule was screened and cleared after he appeared before the screening committee sitting at the Frazer Suite, Central Business District, in Abuja, on Saturday.

The governor arrived the venue of the screening past 8pm and was shortly screened and cleared.

Speaking to journalists shortly after being screened, Governor Sule, described the exercise as ‘cordial and friendly’.

He appreciated the meticulous nature of the committee, taking time to go through his submissions and asking questions, which he adequately answered.

“It was cordial, it was friendly and I think it’s a fantastic process,” he stated.
