Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser to Governor Ayade on Media, Barr. Christian Ita, confirmed the sack of the aides in two different letters he signed, on Monday.

Political observers claim the sack might be a fallout of the governor’s defeat at the Cross River North Senatorial District election on February 25, 2023 by Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
