The Super Eagles will take on Cameroon and not Ghana in the AFCON 2019 round of 16 on Saturday in Alexandria.
Ghana courtesy of their 2-0 victory over Guinea Bissau finished top of Group F to avoid Nigeria, while Cameroon played out a drab 0-0 draw against Republic of Benin to set up the battle against Eagles.
It would be noted that the Eagles fell 0-2 to Madagascar, a defeat that saw them not winning Group B.
The Nigeria versus Cameroon tie would kick off 5 PM Nigerian time.
