Adapalm begins test-running of mill

A multi-million naira state-owned Adapalm Nigeria Ltd, Ohaji, Imo State, has commenced the test-running of the mill with a view to starting a full operation for optimum production.

This is coming following the repair and maintenance of the mill by the members of the Management Committee led by Brig.-Gen. Austin Kalu Egwuagu (rtd).

In a statement issued, in Owerri, on Wednesday, and endorsed by the Secretary of Adapalm Management Committee, Hon. Justus Ojika JP, said that the essence of test running is to know the strength and capacity of the mill before going into full production.

He regretted that the committee on assumption after their inauguration met a dilapidated Adalpalm, a situation that challenged them to move into total recovery, reconstruction and rehabilitation of the place.

He paid special tribute to Governor Hope Uzodimma for all his support which has enabled them to change the ugly story of the place by bringing back life to the place.

He pointed out that company has been in a state of comatose for the period of 10 years without much or little attention by the previous government administrations in the state.

He pledged the commitment of the committee members to the present administration of Governor Uzodimma in the state, assuring that with the collective effort of every one, the company would fully bounce back to production for the good of both the community and government.

He expressed the cooperation of the both the landlords and youths for their supports to the committee.
