Residents of Ogwa in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State are still reeling in shock with the abominable act of one of their own, 47-year-old Uchenna Egbuchulem, from Nduhu Alaenyi, who reportedly raped and impregnated his own 17-year-old daughter.
Spokesman of the state’s Police Command, Orlando Ikeokwu, said that the man was being paraded for raping and impregnating his daughter (name withheld) and that the suspect was married to a native of Cote d’Ivoire who is the mother of the victim, but who had left her husband during her daughter’s infant years.
The police spokesman added that the suspect forcefully had carnal knowledge of his daughter by threatening to kill her with a machete.

According to the police, “On the 12/5/2020, upon a report received by a Good Samaritan, operatives of the Divisional Police Qqrs, Mbaitoli local government arrested the suspect for forcefully having carnal knowledge of his biological daughter to the extent of getting her pregnant.
“The mother of the girl (a native of Ivory. Coast) was said to have left the marriage and returned home when the girl was an infant.
“The dad then began to take advantage of her. He was said to have forced her to bed by threatening to kill her with a matchete.
“Meanwhile, investigation has commenced, and he will be charged to court accordingly.”
