Abomination as three schoolboys land in police net for gang-raping SS 1 student in Ondo

The Police in Ondo State have arrested three secondary school students over an alleged gang-rape of a 14-year-old SSS 1 schoolgirl in the state.

The teenage suspects were identified as Olawale Tobi, 18; Ajayi Michael, 17 and Idris Matthew, also aged 17 years.

They allegedly committed the crime in Akure High School in the Akure South Local Government Area of the state.

The trio reportedly pounced on the victim and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her when she went into a nearby bush to ease herself during the school break.

The suspects had been reportedly monitoring and disturbing the girl for a while before deciding on their evil plan.

The state police spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the incident, saying the suspects “lured a 14-year-old student into the bush at the back of the school gate and gang-raped her.”

She added that the suspects had been arrested and would be prosecuted after investigation.
