American singer, Enisa, adopts a Nigerian name after being showered with love on Twitter

Nigerians’ show of love has forced an American pop singer, Enisa Nikaj to adopt the name to Eniola, a Nigerian name after she supported the #EndSARS protest in October.


Enisa, who dropped a new song, Dumb Boy which saw massive streaming from Spotify over the weekend.

An elated Enisa was beside herself on Sunday when she began to trend on Twitter. She said this is the first time she would trend on the social media platform.

“Ok guys so you made my real name “Enisa” & my Nigerian name “Eniola” top trending on Twitter today,” she said.

ENISA is an American singer and songwriter based in Brooklyn. She gained fame by performing cover songs of popular artists such as Adele and Hozier.
