Ahead 2023 general election, former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD), has held a consultation and sensitisation parley with high calibre chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at his Abuja home last Thursday, October 13, 2022.
What outcome of the meeting was not revealed officially to the public, but our investigation revealed that, the parley was majorly on how party, APC presidential twins, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima would coast home victoriously in the February 25, 2023 presidential election.

A reliable source who pleaded for anonymity confided in our correspondent that, all the party juggernauts present at the parley unanimously agreed to deploy heavy resources, both human and materials towards seeing the party victorious at all levels with particular consideration and concentration on the Presidential and Federal Legislative polls coming first.
It is no more news that, Gbenga Daniel, who governed Ogun State between 2003 and 2011 on the ticket of the former ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is now a member of the current ruling party, APC gunning for a senatorial seat to represent the Ogun East Senatorial District of the state.

The Sagamu ancient town born Engineer, a grassroots politician and expert mobilizer had in attendance at his home in Abuja, the who is who on the political turf like. Senate Majority Leader; Senator Robert O. Boroffice; former Zamfara State Governor, H.E. Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi; Asiwaju Engr. Abayomi; Senator Dr. Ibrahim A. Gobir; and Gen. AbdurRahman Dambazau (retd), Chairman.
Others were, His Excellency DCG Bashir Abubakar; Chief Dr. Felix Idiga; Alh. Khalifa Baba Abdullahi; Gen Olu Okunowo (rtd), and Barr. Fidelis I. Akponye, (Forum Secretary).
