2023: Anambra hotelier, Lady Maureen declares to contest Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency election

Hotelier and wife of a Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in Anambra State, Lady Maureen Chinwe Gwacham a.k.a Ugo chalu acha, on Sunday formally declared her intention to contest the 2023 Federal House of Representatives election representing Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency.

She made her intention known in Ogbunike, Anambra State, during a consultative session hosted by Honourable Damian Chigbo,  the APGA Ward 2 Chairman (Ogbunike).

In attendance were stakeholders and members of the party. According to her, she is the most competent and most prepared of all the aspirants seeking to clinch the House of Rep ticket of the Party in the forthcoming elections.

She said her career path as an accomplished business Woman, a trade economist and good governance advocate stands her high above other contestants, adding her experience in the public sector for over 20-years will help her deliver her campaign promises especially relating to sustainable economic developments.

Lady Maureen further said having served as consultant to governments on policy and strategic planning in the past, she has what it takes to represent her constituency and bring home dividends of democracy.

She hinged her campaign promises on improved  education, healthcare, Infrastructure, agriculture and wealth Creation, and assured the party members that she will not disappoint if elected.

Present at the occasion were Captain Ifeanyi Oguno, Dr. Harris Chuma-Odili Ogene Ogbunike, Sir Elo Gwacham, Chief Morgan Azodo, Hon. Engr. Sir Okey Anyanyo, Engr. Dr. Anthony Isizoh, Hon Chukwudi Okoye, Sir J.C Ndu , Hon. Kenechukwu Nwanne, Hon. Uchenna Mbamalu, Hon. Emmanuel Mbamalu and other dignitaries.
