A Muslim group, Muslim Public Affairs Centre (MPAC) has congratulated Co-Founder of an online shopping mall, Kara.com.ng, Saheed Balogun, over his appointment as Senior Special Assistant to Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Science and Technology.

The congratulatory message was contained in a release made available to newsmen by the group in Lagos on Friday.

The message reads in part:

“We congratulate Mr. Saheed Balogun on his appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Science and Technology”. 

Mr. Balogun is a Technology Consultant, MBA, CCIE Emeritus, Information and Network Security Consultant with deep knowledge and several years’ experience in the Technology industry. He is an entrepreneur and the Co-founder of Karakata Global Online Limited (Kara.com.ng).

He is an expert in IT Networking and Security, Relationship Management and Marketing, Corporate Strategy and M&A, data centre networks, Network migration and audits.

He has researched and developed competencies in Digital and Internet marketing – Search engine marketing and Optimization, Pay per click, Google Adwords, Facebook Ads and Linkedin Lead management.

Mr. Balogun is also a politician who is passionate about the social, educational and economic development of Nigeria and has been involved in several developmental projects in his community.

He is recognised as one of the brightest young minds in the Technology space who have great leadership potentials.

The organisation said Balogun’s appointment would add more value to the state’s science and Technology drives.

“We believe that his invaluable experience will help provide the much-needed leadership that will transform the Science and Technology in Lagos State and across Nigeria,” the congratulatory message read.
