No fewer than 17 persons were reported dead while 14 others critically injured in motor accident which occurred in Katsina State.
Spokesman for the Katsina State Police Command, Gambo Isah, said the accident occurred along the Mai’addua – Shargalle road in Mashi Local Government Area.

He added that the injured persons had been evacuated to a primary healthcare centre and a meeting has been summoned by all relevant stakeholders in the transport sector.
