Zamfara state governor, Dr. Bello Mohammed will on 5th September, lay foundation for one of the proposed RUGA settlements which will be the best and model for others to copy for development of the country.
This was disclosed on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, (SSG) Alhaji Bala Bello Maru while briefing journalists on planned activities to mark his first 100 days in office of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led administration in the state.
Maru said each of the RUGA settlements, if completed will have a dam, 500 units of 1 and 2 bedroom flats, schools for both western and Islamic education, Hospital, veterinary clinic, Jumaat Mosque, cattle market and milk processing factory.
“The RUGA settlements which governor Bello Mohammed is planning to establish in the state will be the best in the country because it will be provided with all needed amenities to make live meaningful for those who will be there”, he said.
